Wire EDM

Wire EDM is our choice when the material is too hard or the geometry too fine for milling. With a working envelope of 500 × 350 × 200 mm we cut complex contours in hardened steels, carbides and parts whose internal radius or thin wall rules out a milling cutter.

Typical applications: inserts and elements for tools and moulds, punch elements, profiles with very small radii, square and hexagonal openings in nests. Cut accuracy is in the range ±0,1 mm; when the application requires a finer surface or tighter tolerances we increase the number of cuts.

Every part is visually and dimensionally inspected. By arrangement we issue a measurement protocol — often requested by customers integrating eroded parts into assemblies with traceability requirements.
